wow.

i just spent the last few hours devouring this whole series. i absolutely love the characters you're building, and the hockey writing is sharp and lovely, and i'm learning so much here - the level of detail and insight is just off the charts. the cultures colliding and the way everyone in the whole cast of characters chooses to handle that - or not - is just spectacular. i love the style of switching between insider and outsider perspectives (although, martin's got that whole inside-outsider thing going, which makes for great reading). the game of ultimate frisbee? totally priceless. (loved the competitive stakes set, too - but who won? ;D) finally, but not least, i love the banter - you've captured unique voices and styles for each of your characters and watching them all interact is fascinating. such boys, such hockey boys, and they only become more adorable in groups. i love it.

so! needless to say i'm completely hooked. i can't wait to see what happens next! thank you for writing and for sharing!
