Title: You Can Call Me Captain.
Pairing: Gabriel Landeskog/Victor Hedman
Rating: Dirty-ish.
Summary: Gabe's new appointment as Captain makes him a little cocky.
Author's Notes: For mizzougirl3. I knew I'd have to end up shipping our Swedes at some point. 
When I woke up this morning, Twitter was all abuzz with the news of Gabriel Landeskog being named Captain of the Avalanche. My first thought was "wow, that's great". Then I saw Victor Hedman's tweet congratulating him, and my second thought was "this needs to become a fic!" 
And so it was. The car trip I refer to in the story is a 4 hour car trip Victor and Gabe took over the summer, somewhere in Sweden, and it was for a hockey tournament. I even talked about it  here.
This is pretty short, but I hope you enjoy!

I did not see this coming! Baby Gabe a Captain! Of course the Crosby fanners are all upset their beloved is no longer the youngest NHL captain. Who the frick cares? Now boltschick, you simply cannot end there. I'm sure there's tons of other readers that will insist you continue with this Captain Gabe verse! And why aren't there more Swedes in the NHL that look like Gabe?

I think my train of thought went out the window seeing Captain Gabe in his new jersey...
