This was tense, sad, maddening, and exhilarating! What courage it took for Mike to come up to Ryan's room, and how beautiful to hear Mike say he still loved him. I wonder if Steven Stamkos knows? I sure hope forgiveness is there for Downie's mistake. Thank you for a great story, and yes, the suggestion to read the other two was a good one - I knew almost nothing of these guys when I found this, and to read the other two first explained a lot.

Wow, I never thought those words would be used to describe something I wrote! Thank you for the kind review! Out of curiosity, what made you choose this story, being that you aren't familiar with the players? I find that when I read other peoples stories, I prefer the ones with players I know. What hockey team are you a fan of? I'm really glad that you liked it! I originally wrote these for a friend, then decided to post them here, and I was stating to think that no one would ever read them! Haahaa. Thanks again for the comment and praise!
