Wow. Just stumbled over this today and.... That was long and so not what I was expecting. I think I need another read-through to really know what I feel. But I do know I liked it. It's difficult to see it happening IRL but as a story it's awesome. I can totally see Doug just keeping the fight going without even knowing why. And I felt so bad for all the guys having to witness it, I'd be frozen too, not knowing what to do. I'm glad Marc went after Doug. I hope Doug continues to prove how sorry he is for a long time.
