the english book store here is barely bigger than my bedroom, and that's saying somthing... all the local libaries are FRENCH (arugh!)
That's not so good. Understandable since the vernacular is mostly French, but, well. Kind of pesky when you've got a book you want. I think I've been spoiled by library networks here where you could probably find a book in any language, from obscure Ukrainian dialects to Haitian Creole and probably Quebecois French, too.
It is a good read. That, and it was impossible to find it in my neck of the woods. Literally. Even wrangling with academic libraries.
