A/N: Jordan's POV
After we won game 5 against Marc’s team, I knew we would get together to talk. He knocked on my door, and I went to answer it, giving him a hug. We both knew that one of us would go on, and one of us wouldn’t. I knew I wasn’t going to say anything about the game, unless he brought it up first. Tonight was about comforting, and talking, since we didn’t talk at all during the series.
I pulled him upstairs into my room, put in a movie, and we got comfortable on my bed. We had already talked to our parents and brothers, now it was our time to catch up.
We were quiet for a while, until Marc spoke up. “Great game, Jord,” he smiled, ruffling my hair.
“We don’t have to talk about this, you know,” I whispered.
“I know. I’m just saying you played well. My game was a little off today.”
“Hey, you were great. Don’t put yourself down like that!” I told him.
“I’m just stating the truth,” he mumbled, a tear slipping down his cheek.
I gave him a gentle kiss, and wiped the tears from his eyes. “Come on, let’s not talk about the game,” I tried to change the subject. He shook his head and snuggled closer to me.
“Sorry about the hit,” he apologized. “Both of them.”
“It’s okay. I’m fine,” I assured him. I remembered when we lost to
He curled up closer to me, and I wrapped my arms around him. I kissed his cheek and ran one hand through his hair, signaling that I was there for him. We didn’t talk much, but watched a few movies before falling asleep.
