Author’s Notes: This is the story that has consumed me for the better part of nine months! The first chapter lay dormant for months in my Working file, until I showed it (and about seven or eight other unfinished works) to my prospective beta eggybread. She’s been with me through all of it, and for that I thank her profusely.

I also must warn any potential readers that this story deals with consensual dominance and submission. Hmmm… Perhaps ‘warn’ is the wrong word to use. How about ‘promise’?
