Hey....well....I've tried to post this fic several times as a whole, but I've come to the conclusion that it's too long, and that's just not possible. So I'm going to post it in parts.

So...here we goes. This was my first attempt at writing a fanfic. It's centered on the NAHL team Youngstown Phantoms, and also includes the NAHL team the Toledo Ice Diggers. I don't own either, but disclaimers are included.

It's an angst fic. I don't really write much more but angst, and I'm sorry, but that's just kinda what comes out ^^. So keep the Kleenex handy, just in case.

Title: The Hero Dies in This One

Summary: Tyler Sims and Jared Katz are best friends. But one fatal hockey accident changes all that. (Summary sucks. Fic is better.)

A bit of character info: this is Jared Katz: He is a left wing on the Phantoms. He's 18 years old, a senior in high school, and he's really small XD He's 5'6" and 150 lbs. He's Jewish, and from san Jose, California. He's cool. He's got a shitload of fangirls, and I don't know him that well. He lives with the same host family as Tyler Sims: Tyler is the starting goalie. He's amazing, lol. I know him a bit better than Jared. Tyler is also 18 and a senior in high school, but not small like Jared. He's 6' and 180 lbs. He's from Pennsylvania. He's a really sweet guy, kinda funny. I have an inside joke or two with him. And that's basically it. He and Jared are friends. All the other characters are Phantoms-Ic Diggers related...and kinda self explanitory. Note: 'Murray' is the back up goalie.
