Author's Note: Vaguely based around RP universe.
*Set during the NHL 2004 Lockout year when Jan Bulis, Aleš Hemský, and Petr Prucha all played for HC Moeller Pardubice in the Czech Republic, where they won the Czech Extraligua championship.
*Inspired by this video. Specifically, 55 seconds and 3 minutes and 12 seconds.
Feedback: Is loved like a goal made by Nikky Zherdev. Or a game won by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Watching Aleš and Jan after winning the championship, Petr feels his stomach twist. Whether it's out of disgust for Jan or the normal twist that usually happens when he sees Aleš, he's not sure. At this point in time, he thinks it's the former rather than the latter.
When Aleš hugged him, for those few, brief seconds, Petr pretended he could forget. Forget that Aleš isn't really his, and forget that right now, a pink mohawk and beer from Crazy Cup are entertaining blue eyes and an adorable gapped-tooth grin.
And there's nothing Petr Prucha can do about it.
