I love Brooks. This seems so real, his character. So much going on, brewing right below the surface. I love that we can see the contrast in his actions from reading from Max's POV, seeing how empty and emotionless Brooks seems on the outside, but then you turn around and let us see what he is doing inside. I love it. You've made him such a dynamic character. I can't wait for the next part!
