I agree is a coach/player relationship ever equal? I think the answer is infact that no it's not, simply becuase no matter what the coach will have a power over the player that the coach is involeved with. Even if the coach doesn't excerise the power.
Jr. players tend to be either cocky bastards or shy and quite, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of middle ground. you've got 16-20 year old guys who are just trying to find there own way in to world, and your right I think it *is* the most changling hockey dynamic to write.
Maybe that's why there isn't more writer's, becuase it does take a certain talent to write it well.
and it gets boring not having anyone else write the same boys your write. Or no one writes your boys for a long time and when someone does pick up your boys you get over protective of them (Me and Sidney, damn I have to remember that other people have their own Sidney muses, but mine was the only one for so long that My muse had certian Idea's about how sids should be)
