Indeed it's very difficult to make 'hot' things with poor Dennis and his name. I typically resort to calling him 'Denny' but I don't think pet names are very Marc Savard, you know? Still, the pretty in Dennis (see my icon for reference ;)) makes up for his name.
Thanks. I'm glad that line got across, too. I think that line itself was pretty much the turning point in this series, for a couple reasons...which I can't disclose without giving away what I have planned for the future.
Well, I usually do first person. I've done first person for three years (and beyond that, I did third person for another three), and recently, I thought that changing it up may bring a new spice to my writing. I was getting bored of first person past tense. Needed a bit of a challenge, and I thought, why not second person present tense? I'm all for challenging myself every once in awhile. Keeps things fun.
